WRC is approved by Education Ministry in Nepal and is authorized directly by many medical colleges in Nepal for Promotion in India & Abroad.

These are following FAQ which is always there in mind while thinking to study in Nepal

Q. How many Universities /Medical Colleges are there in Nepal?

A.  There are only two universities- Institute of Medicine (IOM) under the Tribhuvan University (TU) and the Kathmandu University (KU) providing affiliation to medical schools here in Nepal. The BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) and the Patan Academy of Health Science (PAHS) are two autonomous academies conducting MBBS courses.

Currently, Nepal has 21 medical schools and annual intake capacity of around 2,000 MBBS students.

Q. Is there any Entrance or Direct Admission in Medical Colleges in Nepal?

A. There is Direct Admission for any students who wish to study in Nepal under KU affiliated college.Kathmandu University has taken admission in 2017-2018 & 2018-2019 on basis on NEET.

There is no direct admission for any students affiliated to TU and BPKIHS.The student has to appear for Medical Entrance Examination conducted either by BPKIHS, Dharan, Tribhuwan University.or Those students who qualify the exam will get admission in their desired colleges.

Q. Which month the exam is being conducted and which Place?

A.  There will be 03 examination conducted by three Bodies as follows:

1.  B.P Koirala, Dharan                    Exam in the Month of July at Dharan

2.  Tribhuwan University                  Exam in the Month of August at Kathmandu

3. Kathmandu University                  Exam in the Month of August at Kathmandu



Q. How to Appear for these Examinations?

A. There will be ONLINE Examination Form Available on the Respective University Website One month prior to the Exam. The Examination Form charge will be approx INR 3000/- . For this student can contact us so that we can guide to fill the form.

Q. What is the entire Course fee Package for any Medical college in Nepal?

A. There will be different fee package for different Medical Colleges in Nepal. In General, The entire Course fee will be Approx INR 45 Lakh which can be paid in 02 to 03 year time Period. Apart from this, there will be additional cost for Lodging & Food.



Q. Are the Medical Colleges in Nepal are Approved/Recognized by MCI or Not?

A. All the Medical Colleges of Nepal are Approved /Recognized by MCI. After successful completion of medicine course, student has to appear for MCI Screening Test in India.

However, it has seen that students who completed their medical degree from Nepal can easily pass MCI in first/second attempt.



Q. Why to Study MBBS in Nepal by Paying Higher Fees Compared to Other Countries?

A. English

Q. What are the Eligibility Criteria to get admission in Nepal?

A. The Minimum Eligibility to get admission in any of the Medical College in Nepal is 50% Aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as Major subject. Also Physics, Chemistry & biology should have individual 50 % marks in each.



Q. Is there any arrangement for Indian food at the College?

A. Yes, the mess in the campus provides a variety of Indo-Nepali vegetarian/ Non- vegetarian foods.



Q. What is the procedure for the admission in any medical colleges in Nepal?

First check the eligibility of 12th standard marks.
Fill the application form provided by the respective medical colleges. ( Attached    herewith) along with your  recent passport size photos ( 05 Pcs ), copies of your 10th & 12th mark sheet , Passport or Aadhar Card
Need to Deposit INR 5000 in College / Authorized Representative Account for College & University Examination form charge.
Once the Application is dully filled and sent to us through email, we will get Provisional Admission letter (PAL) from the College. After the receipt of PAL, student needs to deposit INR 5 Lakhs directly to the college account as a booking amount for the confirmation of seat. This amount is adjustable during the payment of 1st year fee if the student qualifies the Entrance exam conducted by TU/KU. The deposited amount is refundable if the student doesn’t qualify the exam.
After booking is done, student has choice to prepare for Entrance exam at own. We will be sending you the last 10 Year question and answers through email.  Student has also a choice to come to Kathmandu by July 10 so that they can attend the coaching /preparation classes conducted by us. Lodging & food will be arranged inside the Medical Campus. This expense has to be done by the student.
After Qualifying in the Medical entrance, student will get admission in their desired college and will pay the course fees directly to the college account.
